Who we are
Marine Turtle Foundation is a student-led group started by William Deklich with the mission to support sea turtles on beaches worldwide. We are a company that recruits volunteers, runs fundraisers, and sends all proceeds to existing turtle centers.
Since our inception, we have had hundreds of volunteers and have partnered with various sanctuaries in Florida, Mexico, and Costa Rica (See Projects). MTF has also hosted multiple events and raised thousands of dollars.
What we do
We recruit volunteers, connect people with established sea turtle conservation programs, organize beach cleanups, and host fundraisers. These activities give our community practical ways to get involved, from lending a hand at a beach cleanup to joining a fundraising event. We send the proceeds from our fundraisers to existing turtle centers to support their work. Through these efforts, we bring people together around a shared mission: supporting sea turtles and caring for the beaches they depend on.
